oa Utilizing Hormonal Effects on Intracellular Calcium to Enhance Cisplatin Anti-Cancer Actions on MCF-7 Cells

We aim to improve Cisplatin Cancer Efficacy. Cisplatin was applied to MCF7 cells pre-incubated with menstrual hormones. Intracellular calcium was measured with fluorescence microscopy and was associated with reduced cell survival in contrast to Cisplatin application only. Syncing Cisplatin administration and menstrual cycle can enhance treatment.
