Qatar Medical Journal

Qatar Medical Journal (QMJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care through the dissemination of high-quality research. The journal publishes a wide range of article types, including original research, case reports, and invited editorials and review articles, with a particular focus on topics that are broadly relevant to medicine and healthcare in Qatar, the wider region, and internationally.

All manuscripts are published in English and undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and clinical relevance. Submissions that meet the journal's standards are subject to editorial revision prior to final acceptance. In addition, accepted manuscripts are published online ahead of print to ensure timely dissemination and to enhance visibility and citation opportunities.

The journal publishes four issues per year and is indexed in leading databases, including Scopus, PubMed Central, IMJD WHO Medicus Index, Scimago, and Google Scholar, ensuring wide discoverability and accessibility of published work.
