A few decades ago most of the children diagnosed with Severe Hypotonia would have died from their illness in early infancy. The current health care system has the medical training, knowledge and facilities to care for these children, but the processes around obtaining the right care at the right time, coordinating treatment and providing holistic care are inefficient.
