Abstract

The aim of this study is to design and analyze a fault detection and isolation technique (FDI) for a class of affine nonlinear systems using observer-based technique. The observer is applied for robot manipulator in order to detect and isolate sensor fault. The simulations results prove the effectiveness, performances and the robustness of the approach.
