Avicenna

An international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that informs and stimulates scholarly discussion toward improving the delivery of healthcare in the Middle East. The journal is owned and sponsored by Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press.
The journal welcomes submitted papers covering original research, clinical and epidemiological studies, reviews and evaluations, guidelines, expert opinion and commentary, case reports, and extended reports, that reflect upon the specific challenges that healthcare delivery faces in the Middle East. It published two issues per year, one in May and the other in November.
There are no article processing charges for publishing in Avicenna.
