Abstract

The spread of the HIV and AIDS pandemic in the African context today calls for a critical refl ection on the virtue of justice. The author begins by describing in a broad manner recent perspectives on justice. He then examines the meaning of justice in the context of HIV AIDS, with a limited focus on religious healthcare, especially the Christian tradition that is a major partner in healthcare delivery in Africa.
