Diagnosis of bladder injury was immediate but of uretric injury was often delayed. Although the injury rates are lower than previously reported in the literature, 0.0016%-0.94% and 0.029%-0.09% for bladder and uretric injuries respectively compared to 0.07 and 0.01 for bladder and uretric injuries in Qatar; a previous caesarean section still represents the most common predisposing factor for intra-operative bladder injury (17 cases; 0.08%) while only one such injury occurred in a primary caesarean section (0.0047%).", }
