Endoscopic retrograde cholangiography extracted a foreign body from the common bile duct. Histopathological examination revealed that the extracted foreign body was the remnant of vicryl endoloop with calcification around. Since laparoscopic surgery has become a very common procedure, endoclips and endoloops are used more frequently. It is emphasized that careful surveillance and strict follow-up are necessary to avoid similar complications., UL https://www.qscience.com/content/journals/10.5339/qmj.2005.2.17
